I don't think there was any conspiracy involved as has been suggested. Every historical event can be construed as a conspiracy by accepting some but not every fact. In the past the Kennedy, Lincoln, Rev. Martin Luther King, and Mc Kinley assasinations not to mention the Lindberg kidnapping are prime examples. These and others have been seized by some with imagination run wild for the purpose of a book etc.
